De 1990 à 2008, l'Auteur travaille en photographie argentique.
A partir de 2009, il adapte la technique D.M.P. au numérique.




Le D.M.P.(Direct Mixing Pictures) est une nouvelle technique de prise de vues inventée, par Jean-Claude Sévellec, en 1992.
Les différents éléments de l'image sont mélangés, directement, à la prise de vue.
Ce ne sont plus de simples paysages mais des photomirages.

Thanks to D.M.P*., the photographic technique he has created in 1992, Jean-Claude SEVELLEC combines genuine elements in the very time of shot; Like the painters, he thus gets imaginary landscapes.
The preparatory work is long, complicated and meticulous.You have to make one image with two or even three differents elements. The place and the importance of each element in the final image must also be defined. The addition of zooming or streak will galvanise the composition.
Thus come out ambiances, particular impressions, odd atmospheres that everyone may appropriate to feed his imaginary world.
